DC 2018, part two

While staying at Aunt Katy's, activities included visiting the Thomas Stone NHS to see where a Maryland signer of the Declaration of Independence lived

searching for shark teeth near Chesapeake Beach

picking potatoes

fun with balloons

hanging out with rock stars

checking out the bee hives

and then stealing their hard-earned honey

Pre-Hamilton dinner

and then we all saw the show at the Kennedy Center, with Bevil substituting for Grandpa Ed

Our dreams of packing the kids' college funds with profits from ticket resales fizzled, but the seats were fantastic

The Canadians-turned-Americans learned the story of Hamilton's life

Bobblehead George is hoping that Lin-Manuel tells his story next

One more blue-blooded, vestige of the Paleozoic era will live to swim another day

When Katy said that the bees will swarm to gorge on their honey that we were stealing, we didn't really believe her

and then as 2 bees turned into 20, into 200, it was clear she was correct

Thankfully they didn't see us as the enemies, and instead tried to save their precious honey
