Seeing Grandma Lu

Patriots Day weekend we went down to Atlanta to see Grandma Lu

Grandparents houses have lots of fun things to play with. Mom played Moonlight Sonata while Caroline plunked away at the keys.

In the basement we found an old toy piano for Caroline to play...

... and after about 1 minute the piano became a stepstool

We went to church and Mom dug out an old outfit that she used to wear. Some 70s clothing never goes out of style

Erin got to wear a cute outfit, too

Afterwards Erin spent more time on the carpet. She does not like to be held for very long. We feel bad keeping her on the floor but after a few minutes in our arms she keeps squirming. At least finally she has learned how to roll from her belly onto her back.

We also visited cousin Jenna and Aunt Tracy & Uncle Joe

No trip to Atlanta is complete without some good eats. At the Brickery we had fried chicken, onion rings, and sweet tea.

Back in Boston, the next weekend a heat wave hit and the temperature reached 80 degrees for the first time this year. We celebrated this St. Copernicus Day by getting ice cream.

In Caroline's world some food comes from the store and some from the Mystic River

Eastertime

Erin is a now a big, happy baby. She's adjusted well to life in daycare, so much that she drinks two to three 6-oz bottles while she's there. Mom & Dad miss do spending time with her during the day. At night she is still waking up a couple of times, but she has been moved to her own room. We are still waiting for that magical night when she sleeps through all on her own.

Enjoying lunch at a cafe in Arlington center

The exersaucer is back! She is barely big enough to fit, but it does the trick

We went to New York to for an early Easter holiday to see Claire and her kids

Where Sabrina goes, Brooke is not far behind

There's still too young to really play together, but Caroline & Sabrina paused for this photo

A warmup egg hunt in the basement

Caroline has too many baskets!

Dad & Sabrina are tuckered and took a nap together

Mom was so cold that she wore her winter coat inside

Here is the real outdoor hunt

All four girls got in on the action. Of course Sabrina got the most eggs. Brooke and Erin will have to wait for next year.

It sure is nice to have a big backyard

Brooke likes to toddle around the house and get into trouble. While Sabrina checks the eggs for loot Brooke finds something fun to grab.

Brooke is a cutie

Back at home Erin sometimes entertains herself by craning to look at the TV.

On the real Easter day we went to Gary & Dana's house for a gourmet brunch.

Without any competition Caroline found all the Easter Eggs in the garden

Caroline's picked up a whole new repertoire of songs. Here's one she learned at school.
