End of school 2021

All kids were back in school full time for the final 2 months of school. Other than weekly COVID testing and the 1-hour shorter school day, it felt almost as if things were back to normal

Caroline's Sci Oly team didn't place in the big meet, but in Anatomy and Physiology her partnership was the only JV team to score higher than the Varsity team from her school

Our April calendar was busy but manageable

May required some coordination to get to the PM activities and even still we had to take some work calls on the road or in parking lots

Little prehistoric foundling rescued from the dusty trail around Arlington Reservoir

Badminton was a hit with the whole family this year

Tundra's sleeping spot

Finally we hit 80 degrees for the first time in 2021 on May 18th

Heather's shrug made out of mohair yarn

Once fully vaccinated, Heather was allowed into her mother's nursing home for in-room visiting

4/5th of the family are vaccinated

In Somers over Memorial Day weekend, it rained all days. Dress up time!

I caught a bluegill

Erin landed a couple bass

Heather landed a tiny one

Chillaxing in the basement

I think this pic would make a good photo puzzle

Our main sports activity this spring was track and field. All 3 girls participated in the Waltham Track program. It was mainly intramural meets but at one USATF sanctioned meet with the best clubs in Mass, Erin ran the 800, Tessie did the long jump and the 100m, and Caroline did long jump

Caroline made a PR (personal record) at the meet with a jump of 13 feet and took 2nd place

Erin was a star on her middle school track team in LJ and the distance events

Tessie is second from the left. Not bad for being the youngest racer. Since her birthday is in Dec she classifies in the 9-10 age group even though she's only 8 1/2.
