It's almost spring and the snow has finally melted, letting us get out on the weekends. The weekdays we take one day at a time. Caroline has advanced to the point of throwing real temper tantrums, as the video at the end attests. Thankfully they're short-lived, but mealtimes are definitely more difficult. She's had a few liquid dinners already. Erin is now the easy one during the day. She's been drinking like a champ at day care and sleeping for hours. At night she still wakes up several times to load up from Mom. Pretty soon she'll be banished to her crib as we try to sleep train her earlier than Caroline.
Finally some nice outside weather!
Erin is excited to be out too!
Caroline has been tired--don't think the time change is treating her well.
Sometimes Erin gets ignored just long enough to give up and drift to sleep.
Outside again at Drumlin Farm--the sheep is licking up some of the remnants of the snow.
Here Erin rolled over for the first time that we know of (the teachers at day care tend to not tell us these things even if they happen!)
Caroline has shown that even the most laid back of children are affected by the terrible twos. Here she is inconsolable on the floor. Some of it is her 2 year molars, some is tiredness, but the bulk of it is likely asserting her independence.
So, Caroline, I'm confused. Do you want the pink bottle or the purple bottle? There are just too many tough decisions to be made in a 2 year old's life!
