Tessie turns 1

Thanksgiving breakfast with the pilgrim girls

Grandma Joan was a huge help with Thanksgiving dinner

Erin got her drumstick

Grandpa multitasks with the baby, a beer, and the newspaper

Erin's pre-K holiday show. (She's wearing the green pants in the front)

Caroline's skating lessons are held at the home of the national champion Lexington Synchronized Skating team. Never heard of synchronized skating?  Neither had we, but in this town it is a big deal and seems to attract more attention than the hockey teams.

We decided to get a big tree this year, and this was our solution for babyproofing

We did leave room for a cozy spot back behind it

We had a couple of snowstorms and this year Erin hit the sledding slopes.

Happy Birthday Tessie

Look at that standing

Every morning old man Max sits in front of the floor heater to warm up. Tessie can't resist giving him a hug.

No Mo November

Playing on the grass outside Woodman's up on the North Shore

An orchard up there had a viewing room to watch the cider press in action. The guy next to the grinder is directing the apple mush into the accordion-like press.

Cider and donuts - yum

Even though it's November, it's still the beach and shoes come off.

Tessie was confined to the backpack

OK, so there are times when Tessie is left to roam about the kitchen while we attend to various chores. One morning she got into the bread drawer and just helped herself!

We know that look - it means that she has been caught sneaking into the bathroom to play with the water table and soft paper.

We invited Erin's pre-K classmates to her birthday party and all but one came! There were 24 kids bouncing around the place.

Tessie is soo close to walking on her own. She has figured out the walker.
