Florida Sun

We took our customary break from winter to visit Nana and Grandpa, and the Grays, in Naples, FL. As has been the case for the past 5 years, our trip coincided with the coldest weather of the year in south Florida. It's now a running joke that it will be 80 the day before we arrive and the day we leave. Still, temps in the 60s were refreshing and the sunshine was glorious. Our fivesome continued to be champs at air travel, even Erin, who, with Dad as her travel buddy, followed a routine with lollipops and the iPad to make it through the flights.

What do you do on rainy day in Florida? Bowl! We started off au naturale, but the girls had more fun with the ramp and bumpers

It is a rare day that Heather finishes at the bottom of the pack

This is more like it - princesses on the patio

Caroline wanted to have picnic for her birthday and since we'd traveled 1500 miles south, we could actually accomodate her request for a February outdoor party

It's our family - wait what about Tessie?

We went back to the pool but the heat was turned off. The girls did not stay in long.
