We were dreading winter this year and true enough it has lasted a looong time. Erin has blossomed into the cabinet-emptying, food-throwing, stair-climbing, toilet paper-unravelling toddler that Caroline never was. On weekends we stayed inside until toys and parents were completely exhausted. Excursions outside were limited by bitter cold and a surprising lack of snow. Indoor playgrounds, the shopping mall, the Childrens Museum, the Mexican restaurant, we visited them all. Caroline joined a swim class and finally got the hang of it and now has a blast in the water. Erin finds entertainment wherever she goes. We are so looking forward to spring.
Hurricane Erin ravages the sunroom and it's only 8 AM. More coffee, please.
A rare shared moment on Mom's lap
Okay, here's one good thing about winter: our dinner on Super Bowl Sunday consisted entirely of this pan of nachos supreme. They were awesome!
Caroline turned the big 0-3. After all the gifts and sweets were over we were pleasantly surprised when she decided that she didn't need diapers anymore. She put on the Elmo big-girl-panties and has been mostly accident-free ever since.
Erin loved the cupcakes, too
Caroline has been extra snuggly lately, probably trying to stay warm in our cold house
We visited Lyla, Katy, & Charlie in Somers and the older girls played well together
Charlie was a cutie to see in real life
Group photos are impossible at these ages. Three out of four ain't bad.
Erin is a little daredevil.
