November birthdays

Thanksgiving is almost here and meanwhile Dad & Erin celebrated birthdays. For Dad's birthday we went to Somers and saw Aunt Katy, Lyla, & Charlie. Meanwhile, it wasn't H1N1, but a plague of conjunctivitis struck Erin, Dad, and Caroline. After lots of hand sanitizer use and antibiotic eyedrops all around we've been pink eye free for two weeks! Not wanting Erin to get all the new toys, we upgraded our digital camera to the Canon T1i SLR - but bear with us, we're still figuring out how to upload them at the right resolution.

The girls at daycare put Erin in these adorable pigtails

We'll have to start putting Caroline's hair up, too

Aunt Katy reads the girls that classic Russian childrens book, The Turnip. This is one book that I guarantee will never be made into a movie.

Lyla was a sweetheart and gave everyone hugs

We promised the girls that they could play in a big leaf pile

Erin missed out, but even Charlie got in on the action

Swimming in the leaves

Two toddlers smiling - how about that!

Grandma Joan made a cherry pie, but first Doctor Katy has to inspect Dad's teeth

The birthday twins - note the swollen eye

Don't worry - the ducks got away

Dad & Erin

She's not playing air guitar, she's eating leaves

It was a perfect day to be outside

Back at home hanging out in the sunroom, our favorite morning activity

Erin loved the wrapping paper from Aunt Tracy & Uncle Joe, and the cute fleece pullover as well

Birthday cupcake

Three months later and Dad's new teeth still look great

Sunset at Drumlin Farm

Erin loves her new leapfrog table

Dad reads Caroline's new book with fun facts about the 50 states. Like what state was John Henry the steel driving man from? Answer: West Virginia

Erin is 1!
