Patriots Day weekend we went down to Atlanta to see Grandma Lu

Grandparents houses have lots of fun things to play with. Mom played Moonlight Sonata while Caroline plunked away at the keys.

In the basement we found an old toy piano for Caroline to play...

... and after about 1 minute the piano became a stepstool

We went to church and Mom dug out an old outfit that she used to wear. Some 70s clothing never goes out of style

Erin got to wear a cute outfit, too

Afterwards Erin spent more time on the carpet. She does not like to be held for very long. We feel bad keeping her on the floor but after a few minutes in our arms she keeps squirming. At least finally she has learned how to roll from her belly onto her back.

We also visited cousin Jenna and Aunt Tracy & Uncle Joe

No trip to Atlanta is complete without some good eats. At the Brickery we had fried chicken, onion rings, and sweet tea.

Back in Boston, the next weekend a heat wave hit and the temperature reached 80 degrees for the first time this year. We celebrated this St. Copernicus Day by getting ice cream.
In Caroline's world some food comes from the store and some from the Mystic River

I love the 70s outfit, and also the St Copernicus reference. We had that in London last week too, but it only hit 70 for us!
