4th of July Trip

We convened the Ehmann clan in MD/VA again this year. Baby Tessie met her new cousins and with 8 adults and 8 kids there was a full house on the 4th.

 Dress-up remains a favorite activity

and every year the girls dresses get fancier

and fancier

At Boxwood Farm, hope springs eternal that this will be the year that the chickens do not meet a grisly end. Charlie holds the latest contestant in the survival challenge.

Tessie got some time in the pool and liked it

Erin, safe in the yellow ring, could have stayed out all day

June at home

In early June Dad attended a conference for work and Grandma Joan and Grampa Ed came up to help out. Help out they did, and the week was manageable. When Dad returned the family went strawberry picking and also went downtown to see the baby ducks and ride the carousel.

In the span of two weeks Caroline's smile went from this

to this

to this. Now she and Dad can't eat corn on the cob.

For Father's Day we found a place for the hammock in the backyard. The girls love it!

Meanwhile Tessie is working on her mobility. She makes all kinds of noise whenever the cats are near.

Not quite the Fatty Lumpkin that Caroline was, but Tessie is a happy baby, content to sit on the floor and play with her toys.
