It's been a while since the last highlights, but as you can see, it's been a busy few months! Halloween was a hit with the kids, even shy Erin didn't hesitate to grab as much candy as possible from all of the houses we visited. Erin turned 2 in November, and she is becoming less and less of a baby. I don't know whether to be happy or sad, but I guess it is really a little of both. We had Dave's parents up for Thanksgiving, and despite the fact that our sewer line backed up (gross), fun was had by all. Caroline especially loved all of the one-on-one time spent with her great buddy Grandma Joan, and we even got to go to a movie (Harry Potter) while Grandma Joan and Grandpa Ed watched the kids!
Our first harvest from the winter shared agriculture cooperative that we joined. Almost all of the vegetables found a good home in our bellies, with the exception of the turnips.
One of these years we'll hit the fall festivals, but this year we were content to visit Wilson Farm and their spooky hayride.
It was a milestone when Erin & Caroline could play outside long enough without intervention for Dad to get some raking done. In fact, Erin turned out to be the perfect ramrod for the leaf bags.

We had a fun weekend in NY to see Lyla, Charlie, Katy, & Brad. The girls liked the scary decorations around the Blazer Pub.

For her birthday Erin received several cute gifts and quickly reminded us that at age two the box is often as much fun as the toy.

On Friday we visited a gallery at Radcliffe to see an exhibit of Bevil's work. Caroline is supposed to be striking her ballet pose in reference to the painting of Mark Morris's troupe.

Thanksgiving certainly loses out to Halloween and Christmas when it comes to holiday songs, but here's one that we'd never heard before until Caroline came home one day and knocked it out.
